Six months to a year
Any time in Mississippi but when would you prefer your yard to be under construction? We are just as busy Fall and Winter as Spring and Summer.
Most of our custom pools with a spa and extravagant water fixtures take 4-6 weeks depending on the size of the deck and deck surface. We have completed jobs in as little as 12 working days and as long as 3 months. Obviously, the more extravagant, the more time it takes.
Liner and Fiberglass pools have their place. Yes, gunite is more expensive at start but properly constructed pools should not need renovations for many years where liners fade or maybe cut or rip at any time. Fiberglass can crack or float up in certain areas. Gunite is also custom built where liner and fiberglass is picked out of a brochure.
Water fixtures, whether as simple as deck spouts or grand waterfalls will drop your temperature 5-10 degrees.
We install a polaris system in all pools. This system runs as little as one night per week and will keep your pool floor and walls clean. Plan to spend about 10-15 minutes per week except during pollination and leaves falling, then plan on 1-2 hours per week. Taking care of your yard and flowerbeds are much more time consuming. I suggest running your pool year round. Pools that are not taken care of in the fall and winter are much more expensive and time consuming in the spring.
